The Forgotten - Pt. 2

Hola, hola!

El fin de semana pasado me puse a limpiar las fotos de mi computador y encontré muchas que nunca publiqué, y eso es lo que les traigo hoy. No puedo decir que me acuerde de todo lo que usé, pero lo voy a intentar :P.

Last weekend I thought I'd clean up my computer and I found a bunch of pictures I never posted, so that's what I'm doing today. I can't say I'll remember everything I used, but I'll try :P.

Muchos de estos looks los hice con los productos que estaban en mi lista de Project Pan, que estoy a punto de terminar :D.

Most of these looks were part of my Project Pan, which I'm proud to announce, I'm almost done with! :D

The only thing I recognize from this are the lips, and it's OCC Lip Tar in Electric Grandma.

Hola!

Hoy quiero compartir mis uñas en un post rapidito. :)

Today I'd like to share mi mani in a quick little post. :)

Hace un tiempo me compre el Matte Nail Envy de OPI, y la verdad es que no era lo que buscaba; no era suficientemente mate. Hasta qué encontré un tip para matificar esmaltes: maicena! Le agregué un poquito, et voilà! :)

A while ago, I got OPI's Matte Nail Envy to use as a top coat, but I didn't think it was matte enough for what I was looking for, until I found a little tip: cornstarch! I added a little bit onto the bottle, et voilà! :)

Y este fue el resultado; me encantó esta combinación!

And this is the result, I loved this combination!

Winter is Coming...

Hola, hola!

Hace poco participé en un concurso de un grupo de Facebook en que debíamos realizar un maquillaje inspirado en Game of Thrones y este es el look que yo creé. Hace tiempo que estaba buscando una excusa para usar esta técnica para las "púas" y este fue el momento preciso. Me inspiré principalmente en el Trono de Hierro y en el fuego de los dragones, porque...dragones, por eso.

A little while ago I participated in a Facebook group contest where we had to create a makeup look based on Game of Thrones, and this is what I did. I had been waiting for an excuse to try the "spikes" technique and this was the perfect time. I was mainly inspired by the Iron Throne and a dragon's fire, because... dragons, that's why.

Hola, hola!

Hoy les quiero mostrar uno de mis maquillajes favoritos. Me encanta usarlo para conciertos, y es exactamente donde lo usé esta vez: a principio de mes la banda de mi hermano tuvo su concierto debut para su primer disco y fue genial! Today I'd like to show you one of my favorite looks. I love using this for shows and concerts, and that's exactly where I was going this time: at the beginning of the month, my brother and his band had their debut concert for their first LP and it was awesome! Bueno, volviendo al tema: aquí les dejo el look, es un ahumado en negro que difumina hasta morado y rosado. Oscuro y colorido, justo mi estilo!

Anyway, back to the topic at hand: here's the makeup, it's a black smokey eye that blends into purple and pink. Dark and colorful, just how I like it!

Tanto tiempo! Hoy traigo un look bastante sencillo, ahumado y un poco desordenado, con una sombra como protagonista: Kiela de Darling Girl. Es una rosado cálido con efecto duocromático dorado muy intenso.

It's been a long time! Today I have a fairly simple look, smokey and slightly messy, with one main shadow: Kiela from Darling Girl; it's a warm pink with a strong gold duochrome and golden sparkles.

Project Pan O:

O más bien, proyecto "terminar-cosas-que-estan-puro-juntando-polvo". Me puse a buscar en mi colección, eligiendo cosas que siento que están usando espacio que podría necesitar y terminé con 70 ítems D: Tomé fotos y además me hice un lista para irlos tachando a medida que los termine.

Or more like project "finish-up-stuff-that's-been-gathering-dust-there-for-years". I went through my collection and picked out some stuff that's been taking up space for quite a while and I ended up with 70 items D: I took pictures of them for you and I also made a list for myself to strike them out as I use them up.

Work in progress

Hola!

As you guys probably noticed already, I'm doing quite a few changes to my blog but I'm not really done yet. I changed the URL (I thought it made more sense) and I'm almost done with the layout, I'm just missing a few things I couldn't figure out like changing the date's font and color or the obvious problem with the thumbnails in the home page. So, bear with me for a while and sorry for the mess!

Como probablemente se dieron cuenta, he cambiado varias cosas del blog pero aún no termino. Cambié la dirección URL porque creí que tendría más sentido y creo que el diseño está casi listo, sólo me faltan un par de cosas que no supe cambiar como el tamaño y color de la fecha y el obvio problema con las fotos de la página de inicio. Así que aguántenme un poquito y perdón por el desorden!

Glitter, glitter, glitter!

Bueno... Creo que ya está claro que no soy la mejor en esto de mantener un blog. Pero de verdad quiero empezar a postear con mayor regularidad así que me estoy armando un horario y buscando una solución para ver que hacer durante el invierno. Si ustedes me pudieran dar algunas sugerencias de cosas que les interesaran, lo apreciaría muchísimo! :)

So... I think it should be clear by now that I suck at blogging. But I really, really, really want to start doing this a bit more seriously, so I'm trying to come up with a schedule and a solution for the dark winter days. If you guys could help me with a few suggestions on posts I would greatly appreciate it! :)

Ahora que terminé de dar vueltas, vamos al look! Esta semana en NTMS, un grupo de facebook al que pertenezco, tuvimos un desafío de usar glitter y este es mi intento (uno de dos, de hecho).

I'm done rambling now; unto the look! We had a glitter challenge this week over at NTMS and I gave it a go (two, actually).
