#Pokemonday - Nº 184 Azumarill

Hoy fue el turno de Azumarill, un Pokemon tipo Agua/Hada de la segunda generación. Azumarill tiene un diseño bastante interesante, así que fue muy entretenido hacer este look, aunque las fotos no son mis favoritas.

Today was Azumarill's turn, a Water/Fairy type Pokemon from the second generation. This Pokemon has a really interesting design so it was a fun look to create, even though the pictures aren't my favorite.

El look que traigo hoy es inspirado por Emma de Kittenmoustache (ella está en YT e Instagram).

The look I'm showing today was inspired by Emma from Kittenmoustache (you can find her on YT and Instagram). 

Suele ser difícil utilizar colores pasteles sin que estos deslaven el rostro, por lo que agregar contraste y definición con colores oscuros ayuda bastante. 

It can be a little tricky wearing pastel shades without them washing you off, so using dark, contrasting colors to add some definition can help quite a bit.

Quiero retomar esta idea de hacer looks inspirados en Pokémon que empecé hace un tiempo, y dedicarle una sección en el blog todos los lunes (crucemos los dedos que así sea :P)

I've wanted to retake this idea of Pokémon inspired looks for a while, and dedicate a section of the blog to it every monday (crossing fingers). 

La forma en que hago esto es sacar tres números en random.org del 1 al 721 (porque vamos en 721 Pokémon O: ) y de esos tres números elijo al Pokémon correspondiente que mas me inspire.

The way I do this, is I get three different numbers from random.org between 1 and 721(because there's 721 Pokémon by now O: ), and choose the most inspiring one from the three corresponding Pokémon.

En esta oportunidad toco Claydoll, un Pokémon tipo Tierra/Psíquico de la 3era Generación.

This time I got Claydoll, a Ground/Psychic type from the 3rd Gen.

Hoy les quiero mostrar uno de mis maquillajes favoritos. Me encanta usarlo para conciertos, y es exactamente donde lo usé esta vez: a principio de mes la banda de mi hermano tuvo su concierto debut para su primer disco y fue genial! Today I'd like to show you one of my favorite looks. I love using this for shows and concerts, and that's exactly where I was going this time: at the beginning of the month, my brother and his band had their debut concert for their first LP and it was awesome! Bueno, volviendo al tema: aquí les dejo el look, es un ahumado en negro que difumina hasta morado y rosado. Oscuro y colorido, justo mi estilo!

Anyway, back to the topic at hand: here's the makeup, it's a black smokey eye that blends into purple and pink. Dark and colorful, just how I like it!

Hola!

Tanto tiempo! Hoy traigo un look bastante sencillo, ahumado y un poco desordenado, con una sombra como protagonista: Kiela de Darling Girl. Es una rosado cálido con efecto duocromático dorado muy intenso.

Easter Sunday LOTD - Day 8/90

Hey, guys!


I'm finally catching up on the challenge!
Today I did a super quick and simple look because my grandparents were coming over for lunch and I woke up at 1PM :P

All I used was a little bit of concealer under my eyes and a bit of foundation to blend everything out. I did rather thick and strong brows, tightlined my top lashline with a black shadow and used a bit of a highlight under my brows and on the inner corner. A little bit of mascara, blush and lip balm and I was done!

After lunch I tried on the Maybelline lip stain I bought recently, but I think I liked the look better without it. Besides, I'm not so impressed. It comes off pretty easily with just a little bit of water or even from licking your lips, which kinda defeats the purpose of a long wearing lip product, in my opinion. The color is lovely, though and if you seal it with a bit of lip balm it lasts longer and doesn't make your teeth pink!

Monochromatic Look - Day 4/90

Hey, guys!

This week there's a "Monochromatic" look challenge going on NTMS. Wendi actually asked for ideas for this week and this was mine and it won! Yay :D

This is what I came up with; since my nails are peachy-salmony-orange, I went with oranges. And yes, I even went with the same colors on my outfit, which might have been a little too much, but it was fun!
