Christmassy Reverse Smokey Eye

Is "Christmassy" even correctly spelt? Anyway…

Hi! I'm back for today with this look and for the sake of stating the obvious, it's a reverse smokey eye (where you concentrate the darkest and smokiest at the lower lashline) with Christmassy colors (red, green and gold).

This was this week's challenge for "Never Too Much Sparkle," a Facebook group about makeup I'm part of, so you might see this look floating around in other places.

For this look, after priming both, my upper and lower lid, I started by blending a light, pink toned red with gold sheen all over my lid and past the crease a little bit, and then darkened the lashline with a darker blue toned red, making that thicker than a liner but without covering the entire lid with it.

After that, I lightly lined my eyes with a blackened burgundy color just to connect this with my lower lashline later. I also created a very thin line as a base for the false lashes with a black gel liner that has red sparkles.

Now, for the lower lashline, I begun by smudging a mixture of a dark forest green and a very dark teal and proceeded to thicken this line by smudging a bright emerald green with gold glitter under it, bringing it quite low. For the dark glittery shade, I brushed a foiling medium on my lower lid and then patted the black with green glitter on top; I repeated this step three times. I then connected the lower lash line to the top liner with whatever was left on the brush and patted a little bit of a bright glittery gold right on the inner corner.
I finished the eyes by lining my water line with the same liner I used on the top lid and applied false lashes.

For the rest of the look I went with a slightly mauve neutral blush that has a little bit of gold sheen, a lot of gold highlighter and a gold glittery lip.
